Kellie Martin. Martin is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's famous for her role as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who was the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the television series Father Murphy. She began acting professionally following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television as well as the film industry. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Since she is a mother of two kids, she has become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. She has been spreading the word about Lupus since the time her younger sister passed away due to the disease at 19.
